Stretchmarks

Has anyone else developed stretchmarks only on their thighs? Seems weird but I am getting them all over my things and no where else. And it isn't like my thighs are getting huge. Will I start getting them on my gut soon?

Well, I got strechmarks on my legs aswell, a whole load of them.
12 on my legs, 3 on my thighs and 6 on my right ass.

I'm not huge either, but i gues my legs are fattening up first before the rest starts to come

I'll post pics soon

i have them on my sides, either side of belly, on my arms next to my armpits, and on the outer sides of my chest.

Thighs are a very common part. I've had stretchmarks on my thighs since I was about 8. Currently though for me, I have them around the armpit area, around my nipples, thighs, biceps, encircling my entire mid-section, and thighs.

I developed my first stretchmarks to my lovehandles. When i got fatter i started to get them all over, thighs, arms, all over the belly and so on... Now i got plenty of stretchmarks on my gut and thighs.

You basicly have 3 layers of skin. The one on top, the elastic one in the middle and another one to keep it all in place underneat that.

The elastic layer makes sure your skin wraps around your body nicely and doesn't hang out everywhere.

(We all know what you can do with a piece of elastic, you can stretch it by pulling it). When gaining weight (and fat) your skin gets "pulled apart" because all that bodyfat needs to be stored under it. If you take a piece of elastic, and pull on it you can see it streching but also weakning the faster you pull, and that is exactly what happens with your skin. If you gain too much weight, in a short amount of time your elastic layer can't keep up with it and begins to "rip apart" leaving the red lines on your body, which in most care are permanent.

It isn't harmfull, but I just think it looks ugly.

So, if you don't want them try slowing down your gaining.
