In light of what happened

With freak safari and my boyfriend's pics, and yea...

Could right-clicking be disabled on images?

There's not much you can do about people copying pics, as once it's on the computer screen, it's already been downloaded

Yeah--but it takes considerably more intelligence to hunt down the picture in the bowels if your computer than to "save as" to your desktop. Besides freak safari people, I bet a lot of the guys on here would prefer not having their photos downloaded into some 40 year old's porn stash, you know? I think it'd be a smart idea to disable right-clicking just as a matter of course.

Exactly! That's what I thought.

You don't know who's on here randomly grabbing pics.

If you are unable to see pictures currently, when you right-click and save them they will be downloaded as thumbnails.

If you are able to see them on the other hand, making a screenshot of them works just as good, so it's really not going to stop a lot of people.

Sorry

Well, now, that's not true. I've been to plenty of picture sites where you could neither right click, nor take a screen shot. It can be done, but some times it's not worth it. Just thought I'd mention that.

I would love to see a site where I can't easily get a picture - please nominate one

You'd have to search for one. It was a few years ago that I saw it that had a picture that I wanted to save.

Too much hassle for a forum-site.
We can't just click our fingers and suddenly people cant take the embedded links and disable right click.

And there will always be the PrintScreen button.

And don't forget that firefox can override disabled right-clicking. But I still think it's worth a shot, some people don't know there are other ways to save an image...
